The Mediapop Way of Pro-Colorist
We’ve always been fascinated by how color can influence mood and storytelling. There was this one project where we just couldn't nail the atmosphere we wanted. Our Pro-Colorist Process
Over the years, we've delved deep into the science of color. We're not just tweaking hues; we're mastering standards like ACES and Rec.709 to ensure consistency across cinemas, broadcast, and streaming platforms. Using DaVinci Resolve and Colourlab Pro, we employ tools like Colorspace management, Basic Grade adjustments, Lens Lab effects, Print Lab emulations, Halation, Grain, and Final Look enhancements. We stay ahead of trends, understanding the looks that define cultures and eras. Whether it's HDR, SDR, or DCI-P3 color spaces, we tailor our grading to suit the project's needs. Our goal is to enhance the narrative through color, making each frame not just a picture but an emotion.
