There's something special about this song. The band managed to take that complicated mix of loss and hope we feel during the holidays and turn it into something beautiful. It's the kind of music that hits you in the heart each time you hear it. Having Revv52's harmonies layer in with the band just lifted everything higher. With Ryan Northcott and Manuella Scotton bringing the story to life on screen, and everything coming together in DaVinci Resolve with Colourlab, even after weeks in the edit suite, certain moments still give us goosebumps.
Filming this one felt different. Maybe it was the way the light played off the mountains, or the quiet moments between takes where everything just felt right. The Brother Bicker Band wrote something honest about Christmas - about missing someone, about the pull of home, about finding light in those harder moments. Our job was just to capture that truth. Sometimes a project reminds you why you love making videos in the first place. This was one of them.
