Working with Bristol Myers Squibb and their agency VML, we filmed this series in and around Calgary featuring Paul who has been using Onureg® and his wife Donna, who welcomed us into their life to share their story. Director Ryan Northcott and his producer team lead the production from initial content strategy, shot list, locations, and crew, all the way through to the final edit and delivery. Filmed on the Arri 35.
This documentary-style project is an emotional, hopeful, and intimate story of a family handling healthcare issues. Our goal from the beginning was to capture this in the most authentic way possible and create an environment of trust during filming to achieve that authenticity. We collaborated with Paul & Donna to find out what interests they had, securing locations that fit the style, and utilized music to support it. The result is a moving brand video that gives an audience interested in Onureg® a raw and authentic window into a real life patient.
