We composed an original score, 1988 Forever, as a subtle nod to the plaza’s Olympic legacy. It was designed to feel contemporary and understated—building gently behind the visuals without overshadowing the message. The music helps carry the story forward, reflecting a city rooted in its past but focused on the future.
To connect the public with the ideas driving the redesign, we filmed interviews with the core design team—capturing their vision, process, and personal connection to the project. Shot on location in downtown Calgary, the visuals were composed to match the clean aesthetic of the animation and to highlight the human element behind the transformation. Our edit was built to weave together people and place—combining the animation with live-action footage in a way that feels seamless and intentional. The colour grade was kept natural and inviting, helping to bridge the gap between the existing site and its future form while maintaining consistency across formats.
