For the 90s segment, we leaned into the raw, handheld shooting style that brought an authentic, grounded feel to the visuals. Using close-up shots and dynamic camera angles, we created an immersive experience that draws viewers into each beat and movement. The color work was crucial here; we dialed up the contrast and saturation to capture the bold, uncompromising tone of the decade. Each shot feels immediate and alive, capturing the intensity and energy of the performers while keeping the look consistent with the era’s visual aesthetic. The result is an engaging, nostalgic experience that feels both true to the 90s and fresh for today.

Bringing three eras into a single project was a technical feat in its own right. From start to finish, we balanced creative direction with the technical elements that would make each decade's style convincing yet fresh for today’s audience. Every step, from pre-production research to the final color grading, was guided by the goal of capturing the spirit of each decade while keeping the dance school’s unique brand and energy at the forefront.
